City to Replace All Residential Water Meters
Sarasota, FL: The City of Sarasota will soon begin replacing all 17,000 residential water meters citywide to improve resiliency and metering accuracy. The project will begin in March 2026 and is expected to take two years to complete. Installation will be conducted by National Metering Services between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., with limited interruptions to water service. The City announced the renourishment of Lido Beach will begin Tuesday, Jan. 20. Sections of the beach may be temporarily inaccessible during the renourishment process, which will begin at the North end of Lido Beach and move South as work progresses.
